The Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) initiative was launched in 2017, with the overall goal to unite and streamline Sweden’s genomic medicine efforts to offer state of the art diagnostics and healthcare.
A number of international and national speakers are lined up to discuss genomic medicine approaches in the fields of cancer (solid tumors and hematology), rare diseases and infectious diseases. We will also give an overview of the current state of the GMS initiative and where we are heading. In addition, we will discuss the opportunities of precision medicine with a couple of Swedish technology companies in the field.
The meeting is aimed to medical professionals and researchers from all areas of medicine, molecular biology and bioinformatics.
